one-to-one, pre-qualified, online meetings

One-to-one meetings are our way helping you have in-depth conversations with school leaders who already know a little about your product and have expressed interest in finding out more. We simply tell our community about what you do and if they're interested, they book a meeting directly with you - at a time to suit you.

BlueCow Education are able to deliver online meetings with MAT central team members (CEOs, Directors of Education / Inclusion, Finance Officers), primary and secondary SLT members (Headteachers, Deputy Heads, Assistant Heads, SENCOs, School Business Managers) as well as primary and secondary subject leaders.

Key features

• Meetings are booked directly from our monthly newsletters - 'MAT Meet' and 'SLT Meet'.
• We have over 1000 subscribers to 'MAT Meet' and these include all Multi-academy Trusts with at least 2 schools. Over 3000 school leaders subscribe to 'SLT Meet'.
• We agree a short overview text for inclusion in the newsletter that explains your product and invites leaders to book a meeting with you.
• MAT and school leaders are able to book up to 2 meetings that are of the most interest from a maximum of 6 companies that are featured in each newsletter.
• You are able to place restrictions on who can book meetings. For example, schools or Trusts you are currently or have previously been in discussion with.
• You only pay for the meetings that actually take place.
• You are able to tailor the questions on the pre-meeting fact-finding form that all leaders complete prior to the meeting and the meetings are booked into a calendar that you select.
• You also receive detailed post-meeting feedback from every attendee and you are also able to tailor the questions that are asked in this feedback form.

• Why would I book an individual online one-to-one meeting rather than an online showcase?
There are a number of specific benefits to one-to-one meetings:
1. The meeting is pre-qualified: The MAT or school leader already knows a little about your product and has booked a meeting on this basis. The fact that they are only able to book 2 meetings from each newsletter means that they select the products that are of the most immediate interest; as such, the sales cycle for one-to-one meetings is typically shorter than an online showcase.
2. Meetings can be booked during the school day when it is the most convenient to the leaders and to your sales team.
3. Rather than be restricted to 13 minutes, you are able schedule in-depth conversations that typically last from 30-45 minutes. You are also able to make these conversations completely bespoke to the Trust or school, based upon pre-meeting information that you are provided with.

• Are the school leaders incentivised to attend?
School leaders are not incentivised to attend, but we do incentivise them to complete the online feedback form. This quality assures the post-meeting feedback that we give you and provides absolute clarity to you on how the leader viewed both the presentation and the product / service being presented.

• How quickly will I make sales?
A range of factors can influence this from price to the complexity of embedding your product (to name just two!) The sales cycle is typically longer in the Autumn compared to the Spring and Summer, but one-to-one meetings offer the fastest route to sales of all the opportunities that we provide. Fundamentally, selling to UK schools is very difficult at the moment, but again, we can help you increase your chances of success and shorten your sales cycle as we will share best practice and what is working for other companies with you. 

• What is the minimum number of meetings that we can request?
To be included in the monthly newsletter, the minimum number of meetings that you are able to request is 10. There is no maximum. We typically arrange the exact number of meetings to match the budget that you have set. If we are unable to deliver 10 meetings, then you only pay for the meetings that have taken place.
