Frequently asked questions

How do I receive my £40?
Once you have attended the online event with your camera switched on and completed the feedback form we will email your voucher or Headteacher Chat planner code to you - typically on the night itself.

Can I attend more than one event?
We have a small bank of suppliers who only exhibit at our publicly advertised events, so we kindly request that you only attend 1 publicly advertised event each academic year. Once you have been to your first event, we will then invite you onto further evenings to watch presentations by companies with products that you have not seen before.

Can I invite a colleague?
We limit places to one senior leader per school; if you would like to invite a colleague they are welcome, however, there will be only one thank you voucher per school. Please do encourage them to attend on a different event / evening to yourself.

Who will I hear from?
You will hear from 6 established providers in the education sector. We ensure that you are kept up-to-date with exciting and interesting suppliers. It may be you are familiar with some names and others are new to you. All the product presentations are engaging, fast-paced and have the potential to improve pupil outcomes. The one commonality is they are all products that we, as ex-school leaders, believe you will be interested to hear about. 

What is the format?
You will hear from 6 different suppliers who will present to you and a small group (usually between 3-4 people) for around 13 minutes. They will give you a quick run through their product from which they will ask for feedback. You may also be interested in the product and so this will save you time from research and sales calls.

What happens to my data?
We do not pass your contact details on to any of the providers unless you have ticked to say you would like them to contact you. We will keep your details so that we can invite you to future events.

Why do you pay me to attend?
We know that our events are a great way to save you research time. However, we also know how busy you are and
therefore want to thank you for giving up your time and for completing a short online feedback form during the evening as you watch the presentations. The feedback you share is also invaluable to the presenting companies for product positioning and development.

What if I can’t attend?
Our suppliers pay to have the privilege of talking to you and therefore it is only fair that we give them the audience size that we promise. If you are unable to attend please let us know. We know that it is not always possible, but we also ask that you give us notice if you can’t make it as we are then able to invite those on our waiting list in your place.
